Call: European Low-Cost Space Launch

Applicants for this Horizon Prize should develop a European solution for launching satellites into Low-Earth-Orbit that is technologically non-dependent. This could enable dedicated low-cost launches with committed schedule and orbit. Proposals need to be innovative, implementable, commercially viable and affordable in development. Furthermore, a holistic approach is required that explores possibilities beyond existing solutions. The solution will support Europe's access to space and thereby offer advantages for European companies, SMEs, universities and research centres.
